Chinese smartphone maker Xiaomi is launching its flagship Mi10 in India on May 8. Along with this the company is also bringing some new products.
Xiaomi has released a teaser. Accordingly, the company is preparing to launch MI Box in India. Apart from this, the company may also launch True Wireless Earbuds for the Indian market on May 8.
The teaser released by Xiaomi states that if you still don’t want to upgrade your TV, but want a modern TV experience then this device is for them.
Notably, Mr. Box is already available in China. Its specialty is that you can connect it to an existing TV and make it a smart TV. After connecting it you will get the same experience as MI TV.
The Me Box is a small device that you can connect to an old TV in your home. It runs on Android TV 6.0 and supports device cast. So you can cast Android smartphone in TV.
You can download apps on TV from Google Play, play games, watch news. Various content apps like Netflix and Amazon Prime can also be used. Overall this device will make your existing TV a smart TV.
It is unknown at this time what version of Me Box the company has launched in India. In the global market, the company sells MI boxes running on Android TV 6.0. In India, the company may launch it with Android TV 9 Pi.
MI Box’s credit company may also launch True Wireless Earbuds called MI Erdoots 2S. When it comes to price, the company will try to keep the MI box within Rs 3,000.
